Potala Palace | One Highlight, Done Right

Morning entry to the Potala Palace at its quietest. Your guide leads you through chapels, murals, and stupas with time to pause and absorb. Afternoon: Entirely free—museum visit, café with Potala views, or simply rest. Third night in the same oxygen-equipped hotel.

Lhasa → Basum Tso → Nyingchi

Travel east via the Mila Mountain Tunnel to Basum Tso (Draksum Lake)—a jewel of turquoise water and forested islands. Boat access is arranged when conditions are calm. Continue to Nyingchi, where lower altitude and greener valleys bring a noticeable sense of ease.

Nyingchi | Nature, Unrushed

A day devoted to the region's gentle beauty. Kading Waterfall in the morning. Long lunch overlooking the valley. Afternoon forest walk or seasonal highlights (blossoms in spring; deep greens and rivers in summer/autumn). Second night in Nyingchi.
